Jeff has enjoyed a decades-long relationship with the sacred healing plant, tobacco. Over the past 15 years his relationship has shifted to working with tobacco as a teacher and catalyst for sacred healing. After concentrated apprenticeships with noted Curanderos, Jeff was given the title Tabaquero or ‘one who heals with tobacco.’ 

In addition to being a highly experienced spiritual counselor and personal development coach for the past 15 years, Dr. Schmitt has applied his extensive knowledge to create a program that addresses tobacco dependence. Dr Jeff is a dedicated practitioner and student of the folk healing traditions of Peru and North America. He is also a teacher of the healing arts and cosmologies of South America and the Andes (eaglecondorcouncil.org).

Dr. Schmitt’s work has also extensively published in the world’s top scientific journals.
