Everyone experiences trauma. Trauma can be described as a strong emotional current that alters our view of reality. At FirstMemory, we deploy modalities to help you retrieve lost parts of yourself by encouraging the natural purging of emotions and heavy energies so you have more energy, joy, and good health. All traumatic experiences leave an imprint in our minds and bodies. This is true both for acute trauma as well as developmental trauma. A high degree of emotional energy is created, and the nervous system becomes overwhelmed, therefore “fracturing off” a great amount of this sensory input. While this mechanism is protective in nature, if the displaced energy is not properly integrated back into the nervous system, choke points are created in the normal flow of the body’s energy field, which can create multiple negative mental and physical symptoms.
