Group Sacred Tobacco Ceremony
FirstMemory co-founders Alejandro Villegas and Desiree Saltkill will guide us through a sacred tobacco ceremony, rooted in the teachings of their ancient Peruvian shamanic lineages and supported by a Mesa (shamanic altar).
During the ceremony, they will serve Singa, a ceremonial brew made from Amazonian mapacho tobacco. This powerful sacrament helps release old habits while inviting transformative new ways of being. By connecting with the sacred spirit of this ancient plant and understanding how nicotine supports brain plasticity, participants can gain tools to reconfigure mental patterns and heal past wounds. In addition, they will incorporate Sananga, potent Amazonian eye drops renowned for enhancing intuitive perception, uplifting mood, and supporting ocular health.
The sacred tobacco will not be smoked. Instead, Singa is prepared as a tea-like brew and administered nasally through a ritual. A few drops of the sacrament are placed in a whelk shell and gently poured into each nostril, similar to using a neti pot. The ritual is performed twice: once to release old patterns and energies, and again to manifest new intentions and ways of being. This medicine does not burn and has a mildly sweet taste, but it is powerful. It is recommended only for individuals in good health and deeply committed to creating lasting change.
Alejandro and Desiree will also offer assistance for those interested in receiving a limpia (energetic clearing) to release dense energy from the subtle body.
This experience is not recommended for anyone struggling with nicotine addiction, but it will be beneficial for those seeking to develop a healthy relationship with the spirit of tobacco.
